Bottom club Banbury 2nd gave themselves a lifeline with a thrilling two-wicket win over Witney Mills.
The old firm of Brian Jeffries (6-61) and Andy Smith (3-63) combined to reduce Mills from 109-0 to 171 all out - despite useful contributions from Pete Claridge (50), Tim Reeve (48) and Mark Cannons (42).
Banbury's Stuart Armstrong (50) and new boy David Best (46) then put on 104, and they reached 172-8 with two balls to spare despite the efforts of Jim Skelson (4-37) and Steve Kelly (4-66).
