Thame's Pete White shrugged off driving rain to record an excellent 38 min 31 sec in the Bearbrook Runners' annual 10k road race which started and finished at Aylesbury Rugby Club.
White finished 43rd overall and was the first Thame man home.
Graham Turner was close behind in 38.56 and 51st overall, and close on the heels of this pair were Rod Lavers and Neil Richards in 39.04 (54th) and 39.15 (56th) respectively.
