A budding singer is hoping her unique voice will win her a record deal.
Julie-Anne Archbold, 22, of Ploughley Road, Ambrosden, near Bicester, is up against 20,000 rivals in a bid to become Britain's newest pop star.
She has been picked to audition for the new television series Pop Idol, in which viewers vote for their favourite contestant.
Julie-Anne Archbold She said: "It's all thanks to George Smith from G's Wine Bar, he made me do it. My voice is individual, I don't really sound like anybody."
Mrs Archbold discovered her singing talent after taking part in several karaoke competitions.
She has been rehearsing at the wine bar, which has regular karaoke evenings and added: "At home I stand in front of the mirror to practice.
"My daughter Connie also helps."
Her audition is at the Royal Victoria Docks, London, on September 3.
Mrs Archbold will be joining Barry Short, of Ray Road, Bicester, at the audition. Applicants will be told immediately whether they have reached the next round.
Mr Short's audition is on Tuesday at the Excel Building, London.
