A woman accused of handling stolen goods found at her home told a jury they had been taken there by her former boyfriend and his friends.
Emmaleene Kearsley, 23, of Hamble Road, Didcot, denies eight counts of handling stolen goods from eight separate burglaries, between February 14 and April 10, 2000.
The items were discovered during a police raid on April 7 last year, while she and her then boyfriend, Darren Presley were out.
Kearsley told Oxford Crown Court yesterday the pair used to buy and sell goods at car boot sales.
She said Mr Presley and his friends used to take items to be stored in the house.
John Simmons, defending, asked her: "What sort of people brought things to the house, or sold things to Darren?" She replied: "It was a lot of his friends."
Kearsley said she often asked where these goods came from, but did not believe what she was told.
Later, Mr Simmons asked her: "Did you know if these things which were being sold were stolen or not?"
She replied: "No, I didn't."
The trial continues.
