A nursing team set up two years ago to care for terminally ill people at home has looked after 49 patients.
The Lawrence Home Nursing Team was set up in memory of Chipping Norton GP, Dr Martin Lawrence, who received nursing care at home before his death from a terminal illness.
The charity's nursing co-ordinator, Jenny Nolan, has a team of 20 qualified nurses on call, who have provided 4,370 hours of nursing in the last two years.
Mrs Nolan said: "It was Dr Lawrence's experience of dying at home that made him realise the great need for a team of specially trained nurses who would provide a service, free of charge, to compliment the already overstretched existing services."
To raise funds, the team has organised a cake stall and sale of Christmas cards next to the Co-op on September 15 and, on October 6, there will be an auction in the Town Hall, with viewing from 11am and bidding from 1.30pm.
