Patients throughout Oxfordshire are missing GP appointments, wasting hundreds of hours of doctors' time.
Despite the problems, Oxfordshire doctors oppose charging people £10 for missed appointment. Nationally, a survey found 60 per cent of GPs supported the £10 charge.
The Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust also plans to cut the number of missed outpatient appointments.
