Garage owner James Pratt and three teenagers are planning to take part in a sponsored bike ride across Spain.
Mr Pratt, from Dorchester, will be joined by his daughter Tina, 16, niece Sammy Garside, 14, and family friend Donna Holtom, 16.
They plan to cycle 200 miles through the mountains of Galicia along a Spanish pilgrims' path to Santiago de Compostela and raise £1,000 for Farm Crisis Network.
Mr Pratt, 49, a member of the abbey's congregation, said: "It hasn't been an easy time for farmers and we want to do something to help.
We've already raised £500."
The quartet has been covering 20 miles a day in training.
