Two boys carrying an airgun shot two women in an attack.
The shots were fired as the women were leaving Tesco's on the Oxford Retail Park, Cowley, Oxford, on Tuesday afternoon. The two youths, believed to be aged 12 or 13, were sitting on the opposite side of the road by the Travelodge.
One of the women was hit in the face, and the other was hit twice on her body. Neither sustained serious injuries.
The youths were also seen firing at passing motorists and parked cars.
Police believe the same boys fired at and hit a lorry in Cowley Road shortly after the Tesco incident.
Both boys had short crew-cut hair. One wore blue clothing and the other had a striped top.
