Staff at a Didcot supermarket raised nearly £3,000 for cancer research after a colleague fell victim to breast cancer.
Forty staff at Tesco pledged to take part in a sponsored slim. Three dropped out, but the rest lost a total of 380lb.
They handed over a cheque for £2,973 to the Cancer Research Campaign area fundraiser Elizabeth Melvin, and the chairman of the local campaign committee, George Green.
The four-month slim was launched after mother-of-two Dawn Hornblow, 52, of Downs Road, Didcot, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Organiser Julie Bolton said: "Staff from every department, including managers, took part. It was wonderful."
Mrs Hornblow, now receiving radiotherapy, said: "I could not wish for a better bunch of workmates."
