A club night for teenagers is coming to the Park End venue in Oxford.

The event is called UKCLUBCULTURE and has the motto "Clubbing for the Younger Generation".

The first to hit Oxford takes place at the Park End Street club on Tuesday from 7pm to 11pm and features an appearance from chart-toppers Phats and Small, who will perform their latest tracks.

Later this year, young clubbers have another night during the October half-term to look forward to and two more over Christmas.

UKCLUBCULTURE stages teen nights at more than 50 venues eight times a year to coincide with school holidays.

A typical evening will include live personal appearance from television stars, guest DJs and entertainment from club and chart acts.

There are no alcoholic drinks on sale and no person who has drunk alcohol prior to arriving will be allowed in.

The promoters say the events are extremely well run and supervised by trained management, stewards and first-aiders.

Park End manager James Hawkins said: "UKCLUBBCULTURE will provide 14 to 17-year-old Oxford clubbers with a real event to look forward to.

"It is packed to the brim with top-class entertainment and located in a safe environment."

Young clubbers can find more information on the website www.ukclubculture.com

Tickets cost £5 in advance from the Park End club on 01865 250181, or £6 at the door on the night.
