THERE'S speculation that Wembley PLC, owners of the GRA and 24dogs.com, are expected to unveil a significant media deal in the near future.
Analysts reckon the company, who own six tracks in the UK including the No 1 stadium Wimbledon and also Oxford greyhound tracks, may be in the process of sealing a contract with Sky TV to televise greyhound racing on a more regular basis.
The plans may include the expansion of the current deal which goes out on Tuesday evenings.
With Oxford a regular Tuesay night track, they could benefit with extra live meetings if the deal goes ahead.
Sky already back the Elite Speedway League and their cameras were at Oxford Stadium this month to cover the Cheetahs against Peterborough.
