An Oxfordshire women is setting out on a horseback mountain trek to raise money for the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust.
Susan Williams, from Bletchingdon, will raise the cash in memory of her father who died of cancer last September.
Miss Williams, 30, will undertake the trek through the mountains of Morocco in November.
The trekkers will be riding for five days, covering up to 40km a day and spending up to seven hours in the saddle. They will be looking after their own horses and helping with the daily chores in camp.
Trust area manager Anna Spencer said: "It costs the trust £50 to fully tissue type each new potential donor.
The money that is raised from the event will possibly help save patients lives".
About 40 people will be taking part in the expedition, each raising a minimum of £2,500 in sponsorship.
Anyone wishing to sponsor Miss Williams should call 07974 303053.
