Didcot Tn 2, Cheltenham Sars 0

Didcot got off to a winning start in their Premier Division campaign as they eased past Cheltenham Saracens.

Carterton T 0, Pegasus Jn 1

With seven first-team regulars missing, Carterton had to give best to Pegasus.

After a goalless first half, James Mortimer-Jones saw his penalty well saved by Andrew Watkins in the Pegasus goal.

Continuous Pegasus pressure paid dividends when Terry Merriman headed over his own keeper to give the visitors the points. ___________________________

Fairford Tn 2, North Leigh 2

North Leigh twice came from behind to snatch a draw at Fairford.

Lee Stoddart headed the home side in front in the 14th minute, but a flashing 20-yard shot from Justin Timms levelled matters straight after the break.

Stoddart struck again to restore Fairford's lead in the 56th minute, and although North lost Matty Ellis and Mark Lewis with muscle pulls, Nick Hughes grabbed a deserved equaliser 30 seconds from time.

Wantage Tn 1 Shortwood 1

Wantage paid the price for missing a host of second-half chances after Gavin Jones had put them one up in the 47th minute.

Shrivenham 1, Kidlington 3

Kidlington got off to a flier with victory away to new boys Shrivenham.

Warren Jones put them ahead early on, Owen Bunce scored a spectacular second from 25 yards, and Lee Bolton sped away for a 3-0 lead.

Shrivenham came back well after the break, Neil Sutton's shot deflecting off Morris to deceive the hapless Keith Mitchell.

Middle Barton came back from a goal down to take all three points.

Ardley Utd 0, Witney Academy 0

Ardley's Paul Spittle in possession during Saturday's goalless draw against Witney Academy in Division 1 West

Witney Academy put the distraction of the fire at their stadium behind them to produce a fine performance against a skilful Ardley side.

Milton opened their Division 1 East campaign with a point in a hard-fought match which saw two home players and United's Lee Swaine shown the red card in the 84th minute.
