Children at Banbury's Horton Hospital had cause to celebrate when they were presented with a large birthday cake.
To mark its second anniversary, the town's Chicago Rock Cafe, in Broad Street, decided to treat young patients in the children's ward with the iced sponge cake. The £40 cake was iced with Happy Second Birthday and had the the pub's logo on it.
It was presented to children and staff at the hospital by Darren Tombs, pictured, deputy manager at Chicago Rock Cafe. Jeremy Boutin-Kilby, manager of Chicago Rock Cafe, said: "IWe had a birthday cake made and thought it would be a nice gesture to donate it to the children's ward."
