Nearly 200 young in-line skaters, skate boarders, roller skaters, scooter riders and cyclists took part in five hours of non-stop action as part of a campaign to establish a new, all-wheeled park in north Oxford.
A wheeled sport roadshow was rolled out on Saturday by Tribe Enterprises, a company that specialises in roadshows. In the jargon of the leisure activity, the company provided two street runs with quarter pipes and flatbacks, fly-off ramps, jumps and grind boxes.

Staged at the Streetsport site in the Sunnymead recreation ground near Cutteslowe, the event was organised by the city council's parks services to find out views on the Oxford skate scene and assess the need for a new facility in north Oxford.
