A decision to let a kebab van operate in Wallingford has been criticised by town councillors.
South Oxfordshire District Council has decided to allow it to continue trading - despite residents' complaints that the van attracts late-night rowdyism to the St Albans Car Park area.
Last orders will be called at 11.30pm and the van must be gone by midnight.
Town councillor Tim Day said: "This could open the floodgates to anybody trading there whenever they want. We should be very concerned."
Cllr John Beeton, however, backed van owner Seydi Caner. "I have heard him warn people at 11.30pm that he's about to close," he said.
