Vandals spray-painted ten cars, park furniture and a building.
Police believe the vandals found a spray can of red water-based paint at a bus stop in Station Road, Bletchingdon, just before midnight on Sunday.
Damage was first done at The Green, where 'STE' was painted on the front of a building in the centre of the village. Benches were also daubed.
The vandals then moved on to Weston Road, where ten cars were sprayed with random patterns.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "The paint is water-based, so thankfully the financial loss is minimal, although it was a major inconvenience."
