Oxford City boss Paul Lee can't believe that neighbours Oxford United haven't made an inquiry about striker Stuart Riddle.
The 22-year-old marksman, who scored twice in a friendly against United last week, was on target again with a brilliant volley in City's 3-2 opening day defeat at Carshalton Athletic on Saturday.
He is on a week's trial with Darlington now, and is due to play for their reserves tonight - meaning he will miss City's clash with Slough in Ryman League Division 1 at Court Place Farm (7.45).
Lee said: "He must have impressed United when we played against them, but nothing has come from them.
"He is happy to stay with us until he gets fixed up or if he gets fixed up.
"He is a quality player and it is a real result for us getting him, but how long we will keep him I don't know."
Striker Danny Wise is back after being unavailable on Saturday, but Andy Smith, Nigel Emsden and Matt Hayward remain sidelined through injury, while Dwaine Strong is unavailable due to family commitments.
Thame United bid to bounce back from their opening day Ryman Division 1 home defeat by Ford United when they visit Aylesbury United for a local derby.
Manager Andy Sinnott said: "There were some good things to take out of the game and now we've got a chance to put it right. It's a big game for both clubs."
Justin Lee, Danny Curran and summer signing Steve Lewington, from Hampton & Richmond Borough, are added to the squad.
Defender Rob Smith is a slight doubt with a thigh strain.
Centre back Gary Price and midfielder Ben Border come into Abingdon Town's squad for the Ryman Division 3 encounter against Leighton Town at Culham Road.
Former Quarry Nomads duo Jason Mercer and Jon Weeks-Pearson, who take manager Alan Thorne's summer signings to 13, played a part in Town's 2-2 comeback draw at Hornchurch on Saturday and are included again.
Banbury United, boosted by their 3-1 opening day home win over Eastbourne Borough, will be full of confidence as they travel to Stamford in the Dr Martens League Eastern Division.
Manager Kevin Brock said: "It gave everyone a lift and the place is certainly buzzing."
Defender Andy Wallbridge, who was unavailable on Saturday, is added to the squad.
