A packed programme of summer activities is on offer for young people in Oxford, courtesy of the city council.
It is running a series of play schemes for youngsters between five and 11 years throughout the summer holidays, from Monday, July 23, until Friday, August 31.
The sessions will take place at Peers Sports Centre in Littlemore, Ferry Sports Centre in north Oxford, and Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre.
Each one offers a variety of activities, including sports, indoor games, swimming, ice skating, arts and crafts, parachute games, science sessions, day trips, and a lot more.
The sessions at Peers and Ferry run from 10am to 3pm, with the option of an early drop off (9am at Peers, 8.30am at Ferry), and a late pick-up at 5pm at both. The sessions at Blackbird Leys run from 9am to 3pm.
The cost of the sessions are:
**Peers: £8 per day - early session £1.50; late sessions £3
**Ferry: £10 per day - early session £2; late session £2
**Blackbird Leys: £8 per day
