Channel 4 TV star Mr Rotavator dropped into the Charlbury summer playscheme to encourage youngsters to enjoy gardening.
The playscheme picked the environment for its central theme this year, with activities for about 40 children aged between five and 11 years old.
Recycling, exploring different habitats, conservation, crystal growing and a Wild Waste Bus were just some of the creative and fun ways children used to explore the environment.
Mr Rotavator, a character who presents a gardening and environmental programme for children, spent a day at Charlbury Primary School to inspire children and their helpers to garden.
The fun day was sponsored by the Burford Garden Company.
The summer playscheme was organised by the Charlbury After-School Club.
