A Robin Hood fancy dress theme is the main feature of a charity fun day being organised in Abingdon on Saturday (August 25).
The event, at the Boundary House pub in Oxford Road, is n aid of SSNAP, the charity which supports the special care baby unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
The event is being organised by Rachel Bryon and her husband Peter, from Shelley Close in Abingdon.
Their son was born 14 weeks premature and spent three weeks in the special care unit receiving care and treatment before he died.
Mrs Bryon said: "This is our way of saying thank you to the unit for all their work. We hope lots of people will come along and support the fun day.
"There will be competitions, with prizes given by local shops, face painting and a bouncy castle."
