Cricketers turned out in force for the Majid Khan Memorial Tournament at Rover Cowley.
The competition was held in memory of 15-year-old Majid, a talented young cricketer, and his nine-year-old sister Anum, who died after an arson attack at their Magdalen Road home four years ago this Sunday.
With the youngsters' brother, Amjad Ali Khan, playing and their father Mohammed Khan and sister Nazmeen Khan watching from the boundary line, eight teams battled it out in last Sunday's eight-a-side competition.
And it ended in an exciting bowl-out after bad light curtailed the final halfway through after the Villagers - a side including Henley's Sid Khan and Great Tew's Ali Sawal - had made 86.
The umpires decided that the light was too bad for Morris Motors, to bat and so the teams bowled at stumps.
Motors missed with all their attempts, and when the Villagers struck once it was enough to give them victory.
In the semi-finals, the Villagers beat the Legends, while Motors defeated Tigers, a side which included Mohsin and Shazad Rana - organisers of the competition along with Sarfraz Hussain - who played with Majid in the Rover Cowley and Oxfordshire youth teams.
The tournament, which was sponsored by Isis Properites, McCoys and Costcutter, raised £500 which Majid and Anum's family have decided should go to the new mosque being built on Manzil Way.
Mohammed Khan said: "It is a great event for them in their memory and it is very nice the way the boys have supported it."
Top run-scorer: I Crosby (Tigers). Top wicket-taker: Faisal Chaudry (Morris Motors).
