Banbury United tasted defeat in their second Dr Martens Eastern Division match of the season last night.
A first-half strike from 25 yards by Matt Green was enough to secure all three points for the home side, though Banbury had a penalty appeal turned down after Matty Gooderick was felled in the penalty area.
Banbury's best effort came from George Redknap's strike which hit a post.
Banbury: Tricker, Wallbridge, Joyce, Sullivan, Simpson, Fuller, Corbett (Harrison 78), Travers (Redknap 59), Milner, Gooderick, McKay. Sub not used: Muckelberg.
