Petrol tanker drivers have called off their proposed strike.
A strike of Conoco drivers had been called by the drivers' union, the Transport and General Workers' Union, because of Conoco's plans to contract its fuel delivery out to a distribution company.
But an agreement between fuel delivery drivers and their bosses at Conoco, which supplies fuel to Jet garages, looks set to be signed, and the proposed strike called off.
The 24-hour strike had threatened to hit fuel supplies at Gibbs Garages in Bicester and Moulsford, Henley Self-Serve in Henley, Little Bourton service station, near Banbury, Blenheim Service Station in Yarnton and Eynsham Service Station on the A40.
