Peace will soon be restored for householders living near a problem-hit project for homeless young people.
People living in Humber Close, Wantage have long complained of noise and disruption from the home, which is run by the Gateway Project.
But neighbours have welcomed moves by the Cherwell Housing Trust - which administers the project - to close the house and sell it.
The three-storey end-of-terrace house has been unused since being badly damaged in a suspected arson attack in June.
Before the blaze, Humber Close residents were forced to endure a catalogue of anti-social behaviour committed by young people attracted to the unsupervised home.
Following a meeting with 28 neighbours and representatives from Wantage police and the Vale of White Horse District Council, at Wantage Civic Hall on Tuesday (August 21), the housing trust's operations director, Mark Hickson, said a recommendation would be made to the trust's committee that the house be closed and sold.
