Holton celebrate their 25th anniversary on September 12 - and to mark the occasion they are holding an open evening at the village hall (7.30pm) in a bid to attract new players.
They have invited a host of former members to the celebratory evening.
Holton have been able to register at least one team in the Oxford & District League in each of their 25 years - a notable achievement for such a small village.
Beginning with just one table, they now have five, and they are looking to continue that expansion over the next few years.
The evening will see exhibition matches by some of Oxfordshire's leading players and will have the support of Aubrey Hughes, the president of the Oxfordshire Table Tennis Association.
Meanwhile, Holton's new season starts on Wednesday, September 5. Anyone interested in joining the club, from aged ten upwards, should contact Brian Dobson on 01865 319415 or 873038.
