Students from an Oxfordshire community college will be provided with late Buses to evening study clubs.
The New Opportunities Fund will give £32,000 to Faringdon Community College to support the scheme, which will help 600 pupils a year.
Buses will ferry students to study clubs in science, languages, maths, design and technology, art and humanities.
The college's headteacher, David Wilson, said: "As a rural community college in an Oxfordshire market town, we are excited by the opportunities the New Opportunities Fund offers our students.
"The award means all our students will have opportunities for out of school learning, as those who live in the more rural parts of the Vale of White Horse can access special late school buses to enable them to take part.
"The activities are intended to raise educational standards, improve attitudes to learning and offer better access to information and communications technology, as well as developing social awareness and community responsibility.
The New Opportunities Fund grants are part of a £30 million contribution to out of school hours learning at 2,350 schools across the UK.
