Big names from the worlds of television and music - including Robbie Williams - are clamouring to compete in a celebrity football match at Oxford United's Kassam Stadium on September 30.
Singer Robbie, actors from The Bill, and comedian David Baddiel are among those who could take part in The Dubble Cup Challenge match in aid of Comic Relief.
The annual event is the initiative of members of the cast from EastEnders and the Walford Wanderers are expecting to draw crowds of more than 15,000.
Organiser Martyn James has been inundated with calls from stars asking for a place on the opposition team.
Comedian Bradley Walsh, will lead the opposition team, which will include cast members from Emmerdale and The Bill, alongside pop stars Mark Owen and Shaun from the boy band Five.
Mr James, whose company Jigsaw Corporate Hospitality is co-ordinating the event, said Oxford was the ideal place for the match.
BBC cameras will catch all the action on the day. For more information call the Celebrity match hotline on 01865 337533.
