Oxford United will give a fitness test to midfield playmaker Dave Savage before today's Division 3 game against Halifax Town at The Shay.
The team travelled north yesterday, and Savage, who injured his ankle against Gillingham, was with them.
Wright said before they set off: "Dave Savage is coming with us, he's improved a hell of a lot. We missed him on Saturday he's very important to us."
But Wright insisted the league was still in its very early days and urged fans not to get too alarmed after the poor start to the season.
"We've played three games and there are a lot of points to play for, we've got another 43 games and if we win those we'll absolutely walk this division," he added.
