An Oxford university college has paid tribute to a promising former student, who was died last month.
Classics student Matthew Oreto, 24, was found dead at his home in St Mary's Road, Oxford.
A death notice in the Oxford Mail, placed by Mr Oreto's sister, said he had died as a result of "Rock 'n' Roll misadventure" on July 13, and described him as "brilliant, bad and beautiful".
A memorial service is expected to be held at St Hugh's College next month.
Ian Honeyman, senior bursar, said the college was "saddened" by the death of Mr Oreto, an American who had been at Oxford for a year.
