Almost 80 Oxfordshire companies have been nominated for their efforts to make their services meet the needs of disabled people.
Queen Elizabeth's Foundation, a charity which helps more than 100,000 disabled people every year, invited people to nominate businesses, employers and voluntary services demonstrating good practice for disabled people.
The EASE awards recognise companies and organisations that support disabled people's right to achieve equality through Ease of Access, Service and Employment.
Categories include supermarkets, shopping centres, banks and building societies, community achievement and a special award for overall awareness.
This year there is a new category for car dealerships and motoring organisations who provide the best services, in association with the disabled vehicle charity Mobility.
Oxfordshire garages nominated include Rowstock Corner Garage, City Motors in Bicester and ATS in Cowley.
