The weather was excellent as Carterton held its third annual Fun Day.
The event, started by the late town mayor, Paddy Monahan, was held at the town's recreation ground and was opened on Monday by RAF Brize Norton commander Gp Cpt Neil Jagger.
Many of the families who came out in the sun are connected to the base and enjoyed an afternoon of activities, including tug-of-war, wellie-wanging, and five-a-side football.
Local branches of charities joined the stallholders to raise money while children had plenty of fairground rides to choose
from.
