Small businesses should be queuing for a slice of the sales being generated via the Internet. Yet recent research from Oftel shows that many are still unclear about its potential.
According to Business Link, more than 40 per cent of those questioned felt they needed more information before connecting to the Internet.
However, those who had taken the plunge found that they were using the Internet more than expected.
To help Oxfordshire businesses overcome these hurdles, Business Link is offering two free two-hour seminars at the Oxford Belfry, Thame, on Thursday, September 13.
Sales and Marketing Over the Web provides guidance on how to set up a website, then uses live demonstrations and case studies to show how it can expand existing sales and marketing activity.
Working Electronically is a hands-on event designed to help businesses assess whether they are getting the most from their investment in technology.
To book a place at either event, contact the Business Link Customer Service Team on 0845 606 44 66.
