Oxford City goalkeeper Stuart Nelson could be on his way to QPR - but in the meantime he'll be wearing the No 1 jersey for the FA Cup preliminary round tie at Sussex County League side Redhill on Saturday.
The 19-year-old, who was with Millwall last term, has been in outstanding form for City since joining them at the start of this season after spending the summer with Des Moines Menace in the United States.
He has had trials with Bristol Rovers and QPR, and City boss Paul Lee said it looked as if he would be joining the London club.
Striker Stuart Riddle also returns. He has been on trial with Darlington, but was taken off after an hour of a reserve game against Blackpool on Wednesday after reportedly failing to impress.
Lee is especially keen to hold on to the pair at present with his squad ravaged by injury and unavailability.
Definitely out tomorrow are Steven Gray (hamstring), Andy Smith (ankle), Nigel Emsden (foot), Tom Waterhouse (holiday) and new signings Steve Arkins and Nick McCrae, who are ineligible, while Michael Thorp (calf) and Danny Wise (knee) face fitness tests.
