Craig Haupt's run feast at White Post Road continued as he took his tally to 333 in the last eight days - without being dismissed - in Banbury's convincing nine-wicket victory over lowly Home Counties Premier League Division 1 visitors Radlett on Saturday.

Craid HauptTheir seventh victory of the campaign means that Banbury, last year's champions will finish runners-up to Finchampstead when the leasgue season ends next week.

Radlett struggled against some fine Banbury bowling and at lunch were 64-5 off 35 overs.

Engelke and McEwan pushed the score along in the later stages, sharing a bright eighth-wicket partnership of 40 to lift them to 169-9, a target that seemed well in Banbury's grasp.

An opening stand of 46 in 14 overs between Andy Sabin and Haupt set up the chase, and at tea only 56 runs were needed with 28 overs available.

However Haupt and Shahbaz Ali needed only six of them to achieve their target. Haupt finished unbeaten on 116 from 114 balls, with a six and 20 fours.
