Morris dancers entertained crowds who flocked to the Wychwood Forest Fayre in Leafield on Sunday.
They were just one of the many attractions at the fayre, which was organised by the Friends of the Wychwood Project.
Other events included a craft fair, shooting gallery, farmers' market and storytelling. The day ended with a barn dance in conjunction with Witney Folk Dancing Group.
Fayres used to be held in the Wychwood Forest in the 18th and 17th century until they were banned because of drunkenness and bad behaviour in 1856.
The friends held their first fayre last year in Combe to mark the launch of the 37-mile Wychwood Way.
The Wychwood Project aims to raise the awareness of history and identity of the Wychwood Forest and conserve and restore its landscape.
