Magdalen College School is celebrating after its pupils were hailed as Oxfordshire's top performers in a survey.
The Evening Standard newspaper's survey of the leading 200 independent schools in London and the south east has put the south Oxford school at the top of its table of high scorers in GCSE exams for Oxfordshire.
The school achieved an average of 74.19 points per candidate in the survey's scoring system, which ranks schools according to a sliding scale.
