A village pub landlord put himself in the front line to help raise money for a cancer charity.
Bob Broom braved sponges of cold water as he volunteered to go in the stocks for a fun day at The Saddlers Arms, New Yatt, near Witney.

The event was attended by more than 100 visitors and raised about £1,000 for Macmillan Nurses. Games, pony rides and a disco were laid on for children while the evening entertainment included an Irish band.
Among the fundraising items in an auction was a football signed by the Oxford United squad.
