Chinnor's new South African fly half Lou Kruger dominated the scoring as they beat local rivals Aylesbury 24-10 in their so-called friendly at Kingsey Road on Saturday.
This was Chinnor's first game of the season with Aylesbury having narrowly lost to Matson in the English Senior Cup competition the previous week.
It was no surprise when Aylesbury took the lead with a well struck penalty from the boot of skipper Winterbottom as they had dominated the game in the early stages.
Chinnor began to find their feet, and from a scrum near the Aylesbury line, they disrupted their opponents put in for John Brown to crash over. Kruger converted from wide out.
Following more pressure, Kruger scored near the posts and then added the conversion.
A penalty goal and a try and conversion by Kruger completed the score for Chinnor, with Aylesbury adding to their total with a deserved try under posts after some spirited approach work by their forwards, who never gave up.
