Oxford Hawks begin their new hockey season this Saturday with a full programme of games featuring most of their seven men's and four ladies' sides, including the men's 1st XI at 11.30am and the ladies' 1st XI at 1pm.
Anyone interested in joining Hawks Hockey Club should either turn up during the day or contact John Kaluza (men's secretary) on 01865 552909, or Deborah Evelyn (ladies' secretary) on 01865 873150.
Hawks men played two pre-season games last Sunday, with mixed results.
Against Swindon, they lost 4-3, despite a Nick Perks hat-trick, but put in a less rusty performance against Winchester, winning 5-0 thanks to a second Nick Perks treble and Ali McShane and Ed Baldock scoring one goal each.
