A 58-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed in a supermarket car park.
The attack happened at about 4pm on Sunday in the car park of Tesco's store in Pingle Drive, Bicester.
As she walked to her car in the centre of the car park, two men in a blue car drew up next to her Vauxhall, then drove at her and pinned her against her own vehicle.
The passenger got out of the blue car and punched her to the ground. He stole her bag containing about £100 in cash, cards and a mobile phone.
The woman, from London, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where she was treated for cuts, bruises and shock.
Det Con Carl Goodman said: "This was a shocking attack carried out in broad daylight in a very busy part of town. These two criminals callously drove at their victim and the injuries could have been even worse.
"There were other people around and anybody who saw something suspicious, but perhaps didn't realise just what was going on at the time, should come forward.
"They may also have seen a blue car being driven away at speed. With the help of the public we are determined to find these men."
Both men are white and thought to be in their twenties.
Anyone with information should contact Bicester CID on 01869 364559.
