Plans to transform a former Oxford industrial unit into a place of worship have been given the go-ahead by councillors.
Oxfordshire Community Churches will build its permanent base at the former Oxford Instruments site on the Osney Mead industrial estate, off Botley Road.
The city council's planning committee yesterday approved the project, despite being advised to reject the plans.
The development will also provide facilities for teaching and pastoral training. At present, the church uses community facilities to hold meetings.
