A family centre in Oxford is sporting a spruced-up sign after a painting project by Millennium Volunteers.
Teenagers Josiah Muchira, 18, and 17-year-olds Jie-si Han, Louise Alder, Jessica Bowie and Taghrid Ahmed re-painted the board outside Cuddesdon Corner Family Centre in Blackbird Leys.
It was designed by artist Claire Goodall.
The old sign, inviting families to drop-in and use the centre's facilities, was ten years old. Centre manager Pete Welpley was thrilled to be offered a new one.
A Millennium Volunteers spokesman said: "The volunteers agreed that painting was a great way of calming pre-A/S-Level result nerves and helped too."
Millennium Volunteers is a countrywide initiative which gets 16 to 24-year-olds to develop their skills and interests through volunteering.
