A drug dealer who went on the run for two years after being caught with 75 amphetamine tablets has been jailed for six months.
Marc Field, 21, of Beanhill Close, Duckington, near Witney, was arrested at a party in Milton Keynes after a security officer spotted him acting suspiciously.
Kirsten Allan, prosecuting, told Aylesbury Crown Court on September 7 that, after being bailed and charged with possessing drugs with intent, Field left the area and was only arrested in April.
Colin Sutton, defending, told the court Field was only 18 at the time and had fled because of fear of the consequences.
Judge Terence Maher said: "A custodial sentence is inevitable but, because you were 18 at the time, and other factors, I pass six months imprisonment."
