Police identified a shoplifter on CCTV as he stole wine from a petrol filling station shop, magistrates were told.
Matthew Hapgood, 20, of Kibble Close, Didcot, was later seen on a security camera stealing an electric food blender from a supermarket.
Jan Davies, prosecuting at Didcot Court, said the offences happened more than five months ago. Hapgood went to Didcot police on September 3 when he heard they wanted to arrest him.
Hapgood admitted stealing the wine worth £9.87 from the BP Garage shop, Wantage Road, Didcot, on February 18, a Kenwood food blender from the Co-op Supermarket, Market Place, Didcot, on March 26, and a box of Kenex toys worth £100 from Dentons Cycle and Toy Centre, Broadway, Didcot, the next day.
Magistrates imposed a six month conditional discharge and ordered him to pay compensation totalling £109.87.
