A banned football spectator awaits sentence after he was caught on camera inside Oxford United's new Kassam Stadium.
Nicholas Green, 34, of Bartholomew Avenue, Yarnton, flouted a two-year ban on visiting the ground by attending Oxford United's clash with Shrewsbury Town on August 25.
Before buying a ticket, Green, who had been drinking, asked a police officer if his Manor ground ban was in force at the new stadium, at Minchery Farm.
He was told he would not be allowed in, but the same officer later spotted him on CCTV pictures and arrested him, said Shelley Cranshaw, prosecuting.
Green, 34, admitted failing to comply with the banning order which was imposed on July 10 last year.
He now faces the possibility of a further banning order.
The case was adjourned until October 5 for reports. Green was bailed on condition he did not enter Oxford United property.
