The new Oxford and District League season starts on October 1 with the introduction of a new scoring system.

Games will be played up to 11 points rather than 21, with matches being the best of five games rather than three. As in the previous season there will be four divisions.

After last season's success, the Oxford and District Association are again running a two pair development league, which will comprise of a single division of ten teams.

This year also sees the introduction of a new system for the Divisional knock out tournament.

It will be run on a group system basis and held next March.

The Oxford and District annual city tournament is being held at the Kidlington Forum Youth Club on November 11.

Table tennis sessions, catering for players of all abilities including beginners, are now being held at the Ferry Sports Centre, Ferry Pool Road, Oxford every Friday (7-9pm). For further details contact Terry Ruane on 01865 453254.
