A huge green dragon, once the centre of a court case, has been retired.
Elliot, the dragon slide, has been the main attraction at a children's playground, in Ludgershall, near Bicester, for years but now the 16ft dragon has been deemed unfit for service.
Elliot
Shortly after his arrival, Elliot caused controversy. Four parish councillors and a contractor appeared at Aylesbury Magistrates' Court, after complaints that the village green was damaged when he was erected. They were found not guilty.
John Cartwright, vice-chairman of Ludgershall Parish Council, said: "Basically he is unsafe." New play equipment will be fitted soon
