Didcot Town manager Peter Cox has leapt to the defence of his new signing Ian Concannon.
Abingdon Town manager Alan Thorne accused the striker of having "no bottle" after he quit the Ryman League outfit last weekend.
But Cox said: "He's a proven goalscorer and he wants to settle down with us. Ian wanted to leave Abingdon because he was not happy there.
"There's no point staying somewhere when you feel like that."
Didcot welcome back Jamie Heapy from suspension for their clash at home to Harrow Hill in the Premier Division tomorrow. Matt Bianchini and Simon Kelly are injury doubts.
