Cherry Red Records Hellenic League Div 1: Headington 1, Shrivenham 2
A strong crosswind hindered attempts to play attacking football, but Headington seemed to be coping better, taking the lead in the 34th minutes through James McFadden.
Shrivenham struck back quickly when Sutton scored from a direct free kick five minutes later and Headington were caught cold at the start of the second half, Shrivenham's Ayre scoring from close range following a corner.
Headington attacked incessantly for the rest of the game, but could not convert any chances and finally missed a penalty in the 83rd minute.
